Exercise Physiology

An Exercise Physiologist is an allied health professional who specialises in the delivery of exercise programs to manage, prevent or treat chronic conditions and injuries.

They aim to facilitate behaviour change, educate and empower clients to achieve long-term health benefits through exercise. They have advanced knowledge in the anatomy and physiology of the human body, using this to deliver evidence-based, safe and effective treatment.

Services

Initial Assessment: 60-75 Minute Appointment looking at your history, observing your posture/gait/movement patterns, and designing a program to help you meet your goals. You will leave with homework!

Private Follow-up Session: 30 or 60 Private Movement Session

Small Group Studio Session: 55 minute session in a small group of up to 4 people. Each participant has undergone an Initial Assessment and has an individualized program to work through under supervision of a trained and certified Pilates Instructor.

  • You can book or modify a session through the online portal here or by emailing stacey@movementhub.co.nz or texting/calling 022 028 7591.
  • Number of sessions required and packages will be discussed in the Initial Assessment
  • An invoice for the session or package will be sent after the session to be paid online within 7 days. Please let us know if you prefer a cash option.
  • 12 hours notice for cancellation is required for full refund of session credits.
