I have been practicing pilates for 18 years and completed my Pilates training in 2014 while living in Melbourne. My personal interest in Pilates deepened as a result of various injuries and using it as a rehabilitation tool.
Whether on the mat or using reformer & clinical equipment I like to consider my sessions to be welcoming and inclusive, benefiting every body through functional movement and strengthening.
I am currently on maternity leave with our second child. My husband and I moved to Oamaru in 2019 after farming in Southland, although I grew up in Northland. In my spare time I like to be creative, and illustrating houses and people’s special buildings is a hobby and throwback from my former life as an Architect.
I am really excited to be a part of the Movement Hub. Since leaving Melbourne my experience of teaching Pilates has been in isolation and in rural areas so now I’m loving working in collaboration with such talented professionals in Oamaru.
